Hence, make sure you know what skills you want to be developing.

And lastly, the toys should be fun and interesting. If you get a toy that is purely educational in nature, children will tend to avoid playing it, thus, losing the whole point of buying one in the first place. Bear in mind that the success of these toys will also depend on your choice and how you introduce them to your kid.
